We provide independent living in shared homes while providing management, guidance and direction. Legacy offers a well rounded program model for perpetual housing opportunities, helping all of our tenants focus on personal development and continued success.

A model to end homelessness in the City of Manchester.
Luche's model to end homelessness doesn't actually end homelessness; some people won't come in, some people don't want to come in, this model is for those that want to come in and now have a clear path forward towards independent living while supported and guided by professionals each rung of the way.
Legacy currently houses upwards of 80 tenants in 20 apartments and offer recovery homes, shared homes and independent homes but we now need treatment homes and voucher funds to support the Luche's Ladder model to end homelessness.
We, as independent states, need to rapidly institute a $1000 monthly residential voucher program so that, as independent communities, we can safely and correctively house those willing to change, put in the effort and consistency to change and grow towards independent living.
With city, state and federal funds surely we can come up with voucher program money considering in the city that I live in, Luche's Ladder would cost the City of Manchester, NH, $7 million to end homelessness and in the State of NH, $20 Million.
Of course we can come up with that money, our cities and states are spending much much more than that on the mediocre shelter space and housing programs they provide now. In fact, the cost to house individuals in a homeless shelter is $3,000 a month per person. We can do better, so let's think a minute, and do better.
This really sounds like every other City in the United States of America doesn't it?
The cost to end homelessness in New Hampshire is $1000 per month per person. By redefining our homeless shelters with a housing first focus, we will refine the comfort in which residents are living and provide a treatment like experience promoting progressive forward development, while also providing perpetual housing opportunities.
According to Mayor Ruiz’s office, there are 558 people without homes in Manchester, NH and 1,605 people without homes in the state of New Hampshire. The cost to house all of these people annually would be $7,000,000 for the city and $20,000,000 for the state or less than 4% of their respective budgets. Let’s solve the homeless pandemic now!
